Guests-of-honour were Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, who was also the evening's patron and is an MGC/TKC alumna.
Also present were Raja Muda of Perak Raja Dr Nazrin Shah and consort Raja Puan Besar Perak Tuanku Zara Salim.
MGC/TKC Old Girls Association president Puan Sri Fauziah Mohd Darus, in her address, announced that Najib had consented to an RM300,000 contribution to the association.
MGC was established in 1947 in what is now known as Damansara Heights, here. In April 1962, it moved to Seremban and was renamed TKC, in honour of the first Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Kurshiah Tunku Besar Burhanuddin.
Next month, TKC will move to Enstek, Nilai. The move, which will be made in stages, is expected to be complete by year's end.
